McCormick & Company, Incorporated is seeking a full-time R&D Intern in Hunt Valley, Maryland located at the Technical Innovation Center. This is a 10-week internship (June 2 - August 8, 2025) which requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with analytical development and testing, including sample preparation, data acquisition & analysis and written reporting.

Conduct an independent research project in an area of agreed upon mutual interest – proposal, execution and written and oral presentation at conclusion of internship.

Work directly with internal analytical teams providing hands-on assistance and project guidance.

Collaborate with other analytical scientists and technologists to deliver ad hoc project results in a timely manner. Ability to work independently, learn new tasks, solve problems, show strong self-motivation and initiative

Present final report on work completed during the intern period.

Assist in gathering relevant data from various sources.

Manage tasks and assignments efficiently to meet deadlines.
Required Qualifications:
- Enrollment as an undergraduate Junior or Senior student in a relevant program for the 2025-2026 academic year
- Enrollment as an Analytical Sciences, Chemistry, Food Science, Organic Chemistry, or Natural Product Chemistry major for the 2025-2026 academic year
- Experience working in chemistry lab (preferred)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
