Hiring Product Support Sales Representatives for our McCoy Construction and Forestry Dealership in Grand Rapids, MN
McCoy Construction and Forestry, a John Deere dealership group with 25 locations across the Midwest and East South-Central Regions, has an opening for a Shop Service Technician.
The Product Support Sales Representative uses technology as an active tool, provides proactive customer uptime support and subsequent growth for McCoy Construction and Forestry (MCF). Achieves MCF’s customer support and satisfaction goals, parts and service marketing and management capability in a specific geographic area of responsibility. Manages the product support process to preempt and resolve technical and/or parts issues impacting machine performance and uptime by developing customer relationship.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- External (Customer Focused) sales/support position
- Using the benefits of technology, strategically focus on incremental revenue opportunities that support both parts and service strategic fiscal objectives
- Make field related purpose-built customer calls to follow up on Product Support opportunities and provide leads for Parts and Service Department
- Fully utilize McCoy’s customer relationship management (CRM)
- Actively promote Preventative Maintenance Contracts (PM’s) or Total Maintenance and Repair Contracts (TMR’s)
- Provide customer training, follow up calls and create customer digital partnerships
- Proactively monitor JDLINK data, promote and maintain machine connectivity along with the sale of Universal Telematics Devises
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Maintain regular onsite attendance as required by your supervisor

Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree preferred and/or applicable experience in an Engineering/Technology /Marketing discipline
- Minimum of 5 years related Equipment experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated sales and marketing skill. Understanding of the principles, can apply the information to complex situations, develop new applications and provide expert support for other practitioners
- Knowledge of products and services offered, good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Be customer focused, write clearly and concisely, and analyze effectively.
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time with some overnight stays included
