In our time of Company growth, we are seeking a Surgical Technician.
Work Location: Bradenton, FL
As part of this role, you will:
- Prepare and organize the operating room equipment, instruments, and supplies as required for various surgical procedures
- Checks patient's chart, identifies patient, verifies surgery to be performed with consent forms, and brings the patient to the assigned operating room
- Anticipate surgeon and patient needs during a procedure
- Take care of specimens, prepare, check, and monitor medications, and assist with dressings
- Opens sterile supplies, sets up a sterile and aseptic environment, and maintains the sterile field during procedure
- Utilize correct body mechanics in moving, transporting, and positioning patients, stretchers, and/or tables to prevent injury to patients and personnel
What you need to bring to this role:
- High school Diploma or GED minimum
- Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technologist program (CAAHEP or ABHES) with CST certification OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification required
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in a Healthcare Facility as a Surgical Technologist preferred OR previous Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, or Invasive Vascular experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification required
- Current CPR Certification required
