What are the responsibilities and job description for the Postdoctoral Fellow position at MD Anderson?
The laboratory of Dr. Robert Bast and Dr. Zhen Lu in the Department of Experimental Therapeutics is seeking a post-doctoral fellow to study tumor biology. Our Laboratory explores the functions of tumor suppressor genes, the mechanisms of tumorigenesis, and chemoresistance. These studies provide a rationale and basis for the development of therapeutic peptides.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Under the supervision of the faculty mentor, the new post-doc will focus on cellular and chemical biology and learn and develop molecular technologies for peptide synthesis.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
An individual holding a PhD or equivalent doctorate who is seeking an appointment under the supervision of a faculty mentor involving full-time laboratory-based research.
