SUPPLY CHAIN SPECIALIST
Our client is a chemical manufacturer of adhesives, foams, and related products. They are seeking a SUPPLY CHAIN SPECIALIST to join their team located in BAYTOWN, TEXAS!
The ideal candidate MUST have a Bachelors’ Degree and have proven supply chain experience preferably within a chemical environment.
Please note this position is a direct-hire role with benefits. Annual compensation is $68K-$75K, depending on experience!
THE EXPECTATIONS:
As a Supply Chain Specialist, the select candidate can expect to be responsible for:
· Remaining aware of all production needs and assisting with production planning regarding material needs, equipment needs, and staffing needs;
· Being conscious of necessary preventative and planned maintenance that may affect production planning timelines;
· Managing all inventory levels to ensure all materials are in stock as needed for production;
· Maintaining material tracking via the use of Microsoft Office and QuickBooks;
· Overseeing a small staff of shipping and receiving employees to ensure all documentation is accurate for imports and exports;
· Monitoring goals for shipping and receiving team to ensure the integrity of product and service provided to customers;
· Providing POs for procurement needs of supply chain departments;
· Collaborating with procurement department to evaluate vendors and suppliers;
· Collaborating with accounting department to ensure accurate invoicing;
THE EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
· Bachelor’s Degree, REQUIRED
· Microsoft Excel, Advanced Knowledge, REQUIRED
· ERP Software, Sage Knowledge, HIGHLY PREFERRED
MORE INFORMATION:
· Compensation around $68K-$75K, depending on experience!
· Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM.
