Basic Function:
Reporting to the VP of Philanthropy and Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the execution of MOWWM's marketing strategy. This position works closely with the MOWWM Leadership team. Duties include social media, website, media, brand, messaging, and other project-based work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Adheres to and encourages a work environment consistent with MOWWM's Mission, Vision, and Core Values
· Keeps supervisor informed of department activities and challenges
· Collaborates with all departments to advance the mission of MOWWM
· Maintains positive client, customer, and partner relationships
· Follows procedures to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and grant regulations/requirements
· Develops, implements, and tracks marketing programs such as social media, digital campaigns, and website
· Executes all social media, including the creation of content, calendar, and reporting
· Manages website
· Coordinates and executes photo and video shoots
· Executes writing, proofreading, and editing creative content for promotional materials including website and marketing collateral
· Supports public relations initiatives including writing press releases and coordinating media appearances with MOWWM spokespersons
· Supports in graphic design for organization collateral, print and digital assets
· Assists with fundraising events as assigned
· Assists with mailings as assigned, (hard copy, direct mail and electronic)
· Assists with volunteer committees and training of volunteers
· Tracks marketing data needed for metrics and reporting
· Assists Executive Team with reports, administrative support
· Assists with community engagement needs as assigned
· Other duties as assigned
Skills Required
· Must be a team player and work well in groups
· Professional presentation, with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
· Excellent organizational skills, with accuracy and attention to detail.
· Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and CRM Databases
· Ability to set and meet realistic goals, establish work priorities, organize people and materials to reach goals, handle pressure well, and evaluate and report results
Education/Training/Experience Required
· Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience
· Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, Social Media, and database management
· Ability to handle donor interest and personal information with tact and sensitivity in a confidential manner
· Ability to work collaboratively with a strong customer-service orientation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
