What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychologist - Medical Legal position at Medical Evaluation Management?
Job Summary
We are seeking Psychologists that are licensed in the state of California (not required to live in California) to act as a Medical Legal / Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME). The Doctor will be performing evaluations related to Worker Compensation cases.
- Create your own schedule and choose which days (Monday - Saturday) and hours (8am - 5pm) we schedule evaluations.
- Option to work via telehealth or in-person.
- Reimbursement starts at $4,030 per evaluation, plus additional reimbursement for records and Psychological testing. Opportunity to earn $50,000-$200,000/year
Requirements
- Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) or Ph.D. in Psychology with a California license.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in psychiatric practice.
