What You’ll Do:
This position Perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing meetings, and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers.
- Conserves executive’s time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; and initiating telecommunications.
- Maintains executive’s appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
- Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, and answering or directing inquiries.
- Provides high-level administrative support to executives, including calendar management, scheduling, and prioritizing meetings.
- Attend board meetings and assist with agenda preparation and distribution.
- Facilitate meeting logistics, including scheduling, room set up, and technology needs.
- Run board meetings, when required, enduring adherence to agenda and time management.
- Record, transcribe, and distribute meeting minutes promptly and accurately.
- Act as a liaison between executives, internal teams and external stakeholders.
What You Need For This Job:
- Associate degree in Business Administration. One-two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must reside in or near Wasilla, Alaska.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software, internet software and work processing software.
- Ability to regularly sit, stand, walk, use hands, or feel and talk and hear. Ability to occasionally sit, reach with hands and arms; stoop; kneel; crouch, or crawl.
- Must be able to lift and/or move 50 lbs.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
