If you are eager to learn, strive for personal development, are highly motivated and organized, and a great communicator, you can help us drive medmix to the next level.  Job DescriptionJob purpose We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning including material planning, meet customer demands, and optimize manufacturing efficiency.  The Production Planner will collaborate with various departments to ensure a well-coordinated production process.  Main accountabilities and tasks Production planning (rough and detailed planning) of defined injection molding machines and automatic assembly orders.Implement sales planning from sales items to production items (semi-finished goods and finished goods).Receiving, scheduling and confirming specific customer orders from internal and external customers.Disposition and retrieval of consumables for production.Generate reports on production performance, key metrics, and any deviations from the production plan, with specific attention to material-related issues.Manage inventory levels and minimize excess or obsolete stock while ensuring sufficient materials available for production.Scheduling orders from sales planning and customer orders into production orders according to entrepreneurial and economic aspectsParticipating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes, reduce lead times, and improve overall efficiency.Implement best practices for material planning and scheduling.Coordinate with sales and operation teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components needed for production.Planning of short- to medium-term requirements for external services and reservation of the necessary capacities.Ensuring the supply of semi-finished goods to the final assemblyManagement of third-party service partners (extended workbenches, contract manufacturers).Definition and maintenance of the scheduling parameters required for production control.Deadline tracking of orders and initiation of corrective actions in case of deviations.Control of internal factory transports and warehouse activities.Plan and coordinate introduction of new product lines with Product Design Team and SalesQualificationsDesired experience and qualifications Work experience: 3-5 years production planning experience in manufacturing setting; medical device preferred.  Education: Bachelor’s Degree and/or combination of experience and education   Other: Excellent and demonstrated organizational skills.Experience working in a manufacturing environment.Excellent time management abilities.Outgoing self-starter with a positive attitude.Team player with focus on building organizational relationships to achieve corporate goals.Proficient in using MRP software, SAP preferred.Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Efficient in MS Office ProductsStrong TEAM and LEAD mentality required.Additional InformationBenefits we offer:An innovative, vibrant and agile culture Growth opportunities in a globally successful and dynamic business on a growth trajectoryExcellent employee benefits includingUnlimited Paid LeaveTwelve (12) company paid holidays per yearMedical, dental, vision, Life/AD&D, Short- and Long-Term Disabilitymedmix Employee Savings Plan / 401k with 100% employer match up to 6% of your annual base salaryEligible to receive additional non-elective 401k contributions on a quarterly basisEmployee Assistance ProgramAccess to a wide range of discounts on shopping, entertainment and lifestyleYears of Service Awardsmedmix is an equal opportunity employer, committed to the strength of a diverse workforce.93% of our employees would go above and beyond to deliver results – do you have the drive to succeed?
