Job Summary:

As a Materials Handler, you will be responsible for receipt, control/inventory, and issue/disbursement of pharmaceuticals, supplies and materials to our inpatient nursing departments, ensuring medical supplies are available for nursing and physician use for direct patient care.

Primary Duties:
· Receives, inspects, unpacks, and verifies quantities received against packing slip or purchase order for items/supplies delivered.
· Counts manually, or with a portable, hand held computer, items on exchange carts or supply.
· Catalogs items and enters inventory.
· Breaks down boxes and discards boxes.
· Responsible for the receipt, distribution and disbursement of supplies and materials to designed nursing units.
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED.
· 6-12 months experience
