Job Summary
The Research Assistant supports Medical Affairs initiatives by preparing account-level data presentations and contributing to research projects that help healthcare providers evaluate glycemic outcomes and identify optimization opportunities. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple research and publication-related tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Create customized PowerPoint presentations using dashboards and standardized templates for field medical discussions with healthcare providers
- Assist with research reports, presentations, posters, abstracts, and publications, including proofreading, formatting, and data validation
- Submit scientific manuscripts and conference abstracts through online portals, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate meetings with internal and external investigators and manage publication reviews and approvals using designated platforms
- Support real-world evidence research by maintaining documentation, bibliographies, reference libraries, and archives of past presentations and publications
- Conduct literature reviews and prepare summaries to support manuscripts and study design
- Provide logistical and administrative support for conferences, advisory boards, and investigator meetings
- Maintain accurate research records and ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) required; advanced degree in a science or public health field preferred
- 1–2 years of research experience in a medical device, biotechnology, clinical research, or academic setting (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Basic knowledge of clinical research methodologies and publication processes
