What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Finance and Administration (Chinese required) position at MEG Group?
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and complete financial records using QuickBooks and other accounting tools
- Oversee full-cycle accounting including journal entries, general ledger, reconciliations, and monthly close
- Process payroll, manage vendor payments, and ensure timely accounts payable/receivable
- Prepare and file required tax documents (1099s, W-9s, sales tax, etc.) in compliance with federal and state laws
- Generate monthly and quarterly financial reports, forecasts, and dashboards for executive review
- Lead internal audit preparation, ensuring financial statements and records are organized, transparent, and well-documented
- Implement and refine internal controls and standard operating procedures to ensure audit readiness and compliance
- Collaborate with external CPAs, tax advisors, and legal counsel to support audit and pre-IPO due diligence
- Support the executive team with financial modeling, budgeting, investor reporting, and cap table tracking
- Assist in the design and implementation of scalable financial systems and controls aligned with future listing requirements
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of U.S. GAAP, relevant SEC guidance, and industry standards for growth-stage companies
