General Responsibilities
This position is responsible for the administration, management and delivery of all training services of the Professional Development Department. This position will perform in a supervisory role under the direction of the Director of Professional Development to develop, implement and monitor staff training and professional development functions including organizing and/or leading trainings in both small and large group settings, scheduling and tracking on a computerized system, developing training curriculum and interacting with various departments, agencies and committees as needed in regard to training.
Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:30a-5p
Starting Salary: $60,033.29 ( ) based on years of experience
Basic Qualifications
Education/Training: Master’s degree in ABA and prior training experience. Candidates pursuing Master’s will be considered but the eligible candidate will be required to obtain a conferred Masters degree within one year from start date in position. Ability and commitment to acquire additional skills, training, licensure and certifications described below.
Certifications/Licensure: BCBA Certification or in process of obtaining will be considered; BCBA certification will be required within one year of start date in position. Successful completion of employer provided certification in CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration and Crisis Prevention/Intervention. Current trainer certification in the above areas is preferred. A valid US Driver’s license and a minimum age of twenty-one (21) years old. Must be capable of attaining Approved Melmark Driver status. Must attain required train the trainer status in Medication Administration Certification training, Approved Driver Training and CPR/First Aid/AED training.
Skill(s): Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office. Exemplary organization skills, interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills are expected.
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years experience in related fields (e.g. training, education and human services).
