About Us
We’re a Texas-based commercial property tax consulting firm that helps commercial real estate owners minimize their tax liabilities through valuation expertise and appeal strategy. With an established headquarters in Frisco and an 18-person team, we are now building our Austin office—and this is your chance to get in early.
We’re looking for a driven, analytical Property Tax Analyst to join our growing Central Texas team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with strong problem-solving skills and an interest in real estate, finance, and consulting. As part of a startup-style office backed by experienced leadership, you’ll learn the business from the ground up, with a clear path to become a Consultant.
What You’ll Do
Valuation & Research
· Analyze market data (sales comps, rents, cap rates, construction costs) for commercial properties
· Assist in building property valuation models and appeal strategies using Excel
· Review and interpret financial statements, rent rolls, and appraisal records
· Identify overassessments and support the preparation of protest evidence packages
Appeals & Hearing Support
· Help prepare materials for Appraisal Review Board (ARB) hearings
· Support senior consultants in negotiation prep and communication with appraisal districts
· Track appeal stages, deadlines, and outcomes
· Generate internal and client-facing reports as needed
Client Support
· Assist with onboarding new clients and collecting key documents
· Communicate updates and deadlines with professionalism and clarity
· Prepare reports, tax performance summaries, and deliverables for client review
Growth & Business Development
· Support business development efforts through research and outreach
· Participate in networking events, proposal follow-up, and new client onboarding
· Learn the consulting and relationship-building side of the business with mentorship from senior team members
What We’re Looking For
· Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
· 0–2 years of professional experience (internships or entry-level roles in real estate, tax, or finance plus)
· Strong analytical and Excel modeling skills
· Clear written and verbal communication
· Highly organized, self-motivated, and eager to learn
· Based in or relocating to Austin and able to work in-office full-time
