Fleet Detail Specialist Job Description
Performs full cleaning detail of all non-mechanical components of your vehicle: Tires and wheels, exterior paint, chrome trim, the interior surfaces, seats and carpets in vehicles. Teamwork to efficiently manage priorities based on operational needs.
Responsibilities:
- Wash, wax, and buff the vehicle
- Clean interior; and exterior windows
- Vacuum and scrub interior of vehicle
- Clean engine and engine compartment
- Apply dressing on tires and tire wells
- Decal installation/removals
- Minor vehicle accessory installations
- Offsite mobile power washing for equipment
- Utilize special purpose cleaners to ensure lasting cleanliness of vehicles
- Operate all tools in a safe manner
- Report any safety issues immediately to management
Qualifications
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude and can-do mentality
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Hardworking personality, shown leadership qualities and eagerness to improve
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Valid Driver license and clean driving record (MVR).
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of one (1) year work experience in a laborer position.
