ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Support AP Team
- Everything clerk (1,2 and 3) does and the following
- Maintain cash requirements
- Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances.
- Monitor all vendor payment agreements to find discounts that can be used to reduce invoice amounts
- Responsible for paying sales tax to various jurisdictions on appropriate invoices and keeping accurate record of payments made.
- Run weekly check and banking needs
- Weekly CIP reports and check runs
- Retail processing
- Register construction
- Work with construction management
- Send needed reports to upper management and owners.
- Stands in for manager
- Schedules Staff
- Keeps AP aging clean
- Assists with closing AP monthly
- Run balance nightly
- Assists in closing AP quarterly
- Verify proper coding
- Ensure receivers are current
- Trains new team members
- Audits invoices
- Verify all cash requirements
- Other tasks as assigned
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Previous casino experience a plus
- Infinium knowledge preferred
- High School diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Experience in accounts payable preferred
- Proactive in identifying problem and taking actions to resolve
- Must have a reasonable level of proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Word
- Must have experience in coding.
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
