Job Title: Robotic Welder
Metalcraft of Mayville is seeking a skilled Robotic Welder to join our team in Mayville, WI. As a Robotic Welder, you will be responsible for operating one or more weld machines to fabricate metal parts or assemblies to specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Operate weld machines to fabricate metal parts or assemblies to specifications
- Lift and secure work pieces in fixtures or load automatic feeding devices
- Calculate and set controls to regulate machine factors
- Inspect and measure machined work pieces to verify conformance to specifications
- Unload welded frames from robotic welder and place on containers
- Perform basic MIG and TIG welding techniques as needed
- Maintain company quality, efficiency, and productivity standards
- Read job specifications to determine type of welding and material requirements
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of an internal welding test
- Previous knowledge of fixtures and weld set up parameters
- Basic understanding of computers and ability to perform computer functions
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints and operating instructions
- Demonstrated detail orientation, self motivation skills and ability to multi-task
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
- Competent at basic dimensional measuring and able to quickly learn the use of precision measurement tools
- Demonstrated competency in basic shop math
- Ability to work with various types of metal forming constraints with guidance
- Previous experience with overhead crane use is desired
