Welding Process Engineering Integration Specialist

Welding Process Engineer responsible for supporting body shop construction, equipment setup, and new model production. Involves welding and brazing processes, data analysis, quality improvement, and coordination across manufacturing units.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles in manufacturing and electronics.
• Support body shop construction progress and equipment installation (including transportation/customs clearance).
• Conduct production preparation for new models.
• Oversee and inspect project progress for new model launches.
• Analyze and improve production and quality data at SOP; stabilize and document.
• Use CAD modeling tools (AutoCAD/CATIA V5/V6 preferred).
• Ensure dimensional control and apply statistical/data analysis methods.
• Apply ISO 9001:2015 standards (PFMEA, control plans).
• Follow internal policies, procedures, and training requirements.
• Maintain effective communication across manufacturing units.
• Participate in domestic and international travel as needed.

Requirements

• Experience in metal stamping, welding/brazing, and hemming.
• 2 years of job-related experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Bachelor’s degree (Engineering preferred) or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or equivalent applications.
• Strong skills in data analysis and proposal development.
• Ability to build and maintain a good rapport with other manufacturing units for effective communication.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
