The Director of Fitness is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing a world-class fitness and wellness program within our luxury hotel. This individual will drive innovation, cultivate an exceptional guest experience, and lead a team of fitness professionals dedicated to promoting health and wellness. The Director of Fitness will collaborate with other departments to integrate fitness and wellness into the hotel's offerings, ensuring it aligns with the brand and meets the needs of our discerning guests.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a comprehensive fitness and wellness program that caters to guests' individual needs, preferences, and goals, reflecting the hotel's luxury and sophistication.

• Lead and manage a team of fitness professionals, including personal trainers, yoga instructors, and other wellness specialists, ensuring they provide exceptional service and support to guests.

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of fitness facilities, including state-of-the-art equipment, group fitness studios, and wellness amenities, to ensure a seamless and top-tier experience for guests.

• Collaborate with other departments, including the spa, culinary, and events teams, to integrate fitness and wellness offerings into the overall guest experience, such as designing wellness-inspired menus and organizing wellness events.

• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and innovations in fitness and wellness, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance and differentiate the hotel's fitness and wellness program.

• Build and maintain relationships with external partners, such as fitness brands, wellness experts, and instructors, to bring cutting-edge offerings and experiences to the hotel.

• Develop and manage a budget for fitness and wellness programs, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and used efficiently.

• Act as a brand ambassador for the hotel's fitness and wellness programs, promoting its features and benefits to guests and stakeholders.

Required Experience:

• Well versed with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, fitness management programs

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Wellness, or related fields – preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting.

• Strengths must include multi-tasking, problem resolution, and customer relations.

• Must have the ability to stoop and stand for long periods of time.

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Must be a team player with a strong work ethic.
