What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapy Technician position at Metro Orthopedics and Sports Therapy(MOST)?
At Metro Orthopedics and Sports Therapy (MOST), we are looking for an individual who has an interest in sports medicine/ physical therapy and has a passion for helping people achieve their goals. As a MOST physical therapy technician, you will be
- working directly with a licensed Physical Therapist assisting patients through specific prescriptive exercise interventions tailored to treat specific impairments of that patient.
- Provides assistance to patients according departmental standards, under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist
- Assists in monitoring patients
- Assists with Front Office duties as needed and participates in projects under the direction of Rehabilitation Service leadership
- Inspects, sterilizes and maintains physical therapy equipment
GED or High School Diploma Required
Flexible schedules
Prior Healthcare experience preferred
6-12 month commitment
