Metro Sales is currently looking for a Commissions Specialist to join our Accounting team in Burnsville. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in contributing to the overall success of a team!
This position ensures that the sales force is being paid timely and accurately, based on the Metro Sales comp plan, for all commissionable sales orders. This position requires policy communication with the sales force and explaining any commission discrepancies from what the sales rep was expecting. There is also monthly reporting and maintaining of spreadsheets. This position will work directly with accounting managers, sales managers, and the general sales manager to resolve any issues. Must be able to communicate professionally with an empathetic tone when necessary. Organizational skills and being detailed oriented is a must.
What You Will Do:
- Audit full order packet to ensure all published policies have been followed to ensure accuracy
- Audit maintenance contracts to ensure compliance with published policy
- Calculate maintenance contracts commissions according to Metro Sales published comp plan
- Enter the final orders into the Metro Sales commission system to pay the sales rep and communicate any differences
- Calculate and enter into the commission system all miscellaneous comp adjustments
- Set up new sales reps in the commission system and adjust for any termed reps
- Complete, ensure accuracy, and distribute all of the monthly reports to the necessary individuals
- Answer questions from sales and other areas within the company
- Complete team projects
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Four-year college degree or equivalent experience required
- Knowledge and use of excellent customer service skills
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Work, and Excel
