The Mentor provides ongoing, individualized student support services designed to help program participants persist and successfully complete their education and training goals. Works with program staff, faculty members, and other staff throughout the College to continually assess students’ progress, implement helpful interventions, and track individual outcomes.
Required Qualification
Associate’s degree plus two years of full time experience supporting or coaching others, preferably inside a correctional setting and/or with individuals who have been recently released from a correctional facility required.
Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience including part time considered.
Preferred Qualifications Physical Demands
Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience including part time considered.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Salary/Hourly Rate $15.00
