Office Accountant
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for providing a variety of accounting and administrative services, including but not limited to:
- Processing accounts payable
- Processing accounts receivable
- Resolving issues or discrepancies with customer accounts, bill pay or invoices.
- Daily/Monthly reconciliations
- Monitoring accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
- End of day cash balancing
- Managing vendor relationships, requests, and payments
- General ledger entries
- Office support such as answering phones, managing ingoing and outgoing mail, filing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Experience with QuickBooks preferred.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize assignments and effectively manage their time.
- Ability to be a team player but be able to work independently.
Hours
- 8am-5pm, Monday – Friday
