OBJECTIVE:
The Recruitment Specialist will be expected to assist in acquiring top talent to meet the company’s current and future employment needs. The employee must possess a strong passion for talent acquisition, employee placement and onboarding. To be successful in this role the employee should have experience sourcing, screening and evaluating candidates. The employee must be results-oriented, driven and have the ability to balance multiple tasks at one time. All duties should be performed in accordance with company policy.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES CONTINUED:
- Post Jobs, Close Offers, Manage Active Candidate Pool
- Provide training and assistance to applicants and hiring managers
- Conduct phone and in-person interviews
- Travel to and maintain a professional and eager representation of MFA at all career fairs
- Develop and maintain strong on-campus relationships
- Manage recruiting on all internal and external electronic platforms
- Oversee Ag Experience, the company's internship program
- Oversee State Technical College of Missouri program enrollment and participate requirements
- develop and maintain recruitment budget and ongoing growth ideas
OUR EXPECTATIONS ARE THAT YOU:
- Are available to work full time hours
- Are available to work overtime
- Are able to travel up to 20% of each year
- Live in, or within commuting distance of Columbia, MO

HIGHLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BRING:
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Agriculture, Business or related field
- Knowledge of agriculture and career opportunities
- Experience working in an Applicant Tracking System (preferred)
