THE JOB:
As a Main Kitchen Cook at MGM Springfield, you will be at the center of our culinary operations, preparing a variety of high-quality dishes that showcase your skills and creativity. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will ensure consistency, presentation, and flavor while upholding the highest standards of safety and cleanliness.
THE STARTING RATE:
- $20.65 per hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Prepare high-quality food items according to recipes and production standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Collaborate with the culinary team and leadership to create memorable dining experiences.
- Maintain solid knowledge of food products and skillfully apply culinary techniques.
- Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Prior experience working in a high-volume production restaurant within a culinary role.
- Knowledge of different cuisines and cooking techniques.
- Able to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
