Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, money transfers, and check cashing.
- Maintain and balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift; reconcile discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and issue financial instruments such as money orders, cashier’s checks, and savings bonds.
- Verify customer identity and account details to ensure secure transactions and prevent fraud.
- Educate customers on digital banking tools, such as online banking platforms and ATMs.
- Promote banking products and services, referring customers to specialists when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records, report suspicious activities, and comply with bank policies and regulations.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Participate in audits, account research, and other administrative duties as required.
