What are the responsibilities and job description for the System Programmer position at Mid Oregon Credit Union?

Position: System Programmer

This role will work closely with business analysts and other units to build, test, and implement solutions to increase organizational efficiencies. Responsible for software development and supporting strategic priorities of the Credit Union; business and process analysis, workflow, and automation development; phased SDLC with proper code storage standards; and supporting the growth strategy by recommending improvements, contributing on project teams, and assisting/training business analysts.

REQUIRED:

  • Proficiency in Change Management
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript and CSS or C , or similar language specialization
  • Familiar with Functional Coding and working understanding of Application Programming
  • Exposure with Software Development Phased Life Cycle SDLC

PREFERRED:

  • 5 - 8 Years of similar or related experience preferred
  • JHA Symitar and ancillary toolset experience is highly preferred, but not required
  • Coding: Working understanding of Application Programming Interface (APIs)
  • Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction and working as part of a team.

REQUIRED EDUCATION: (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in
lieu of a degree).

Salary Range: 65K -80K a Year (Dependent on education and experience)

Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
