Banner Solutions is seeking a Customer Support Specialist I (Remote), to join our growing Shared Services department. As a Customer Support Specialist I, you will assist with processing inside orders and returns. You will support and correspond with customers by utilizing Salesforce, Microsoft Suite, and other programs. You will also support the customer service team and report to the Customer Support Manager. 
       

What you will do (lets call them Responsibilities): 

Administrative Support

  • Re-key web-based orders when necessary
  • Check stock availability, track order and delivery status, and other necessary data points needed by customer service team
  • Maintain and update customer data
  • Meet KPIs as set by CS Manager

Customer Support

  • Internal communication with RMA warehouse team, and Customer Support Specialists as necessary to process returns
  • Issue scrap in field credit as advised by Banner Solutions internal procedures
  • Create positive customer experiences through email, phone, and written communication

Inter-Departmental Communication

  • Communicate with other departments across Banner Solutions as necessary to answer customer questions


What you need to have (let’s call them Desired Skills and Background): 

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 1 year experience in customer service and/or administrative support, preferably in the lock and/or distribution industry
  • Analytical and Problem solving skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite (proficiency preferred)
  • Proficiency with phone, email, basic web technology 


What is nice to have (let’s call them additional skills)

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM
  • Administrative acumen
  • Based in Kansas City area
