What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Faculty - Health and Physical Education position at Middlesex College?
The History and Social Sciences department at Middlesex College invites applications for part-time Adjunct Faculty Members to teach the following subjects during the 2021-2022 Academic Year:
Health Courses (HED/HES)
- Contemporary Health Issues
- Exercise Science
- First Aid, CPR, and Safety Education
- Human Sexuality and Family Life
- Nutrition
Physical Education Courses (PED)
- Golf
- Racquetball
- Step Aerobics
- Swimming
- Tennis
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- For HED and HES classes, a MA Degree in the subject or a related discipline
- For PED classes, a BA Degree in the subject or a related discipline
- Experience teaching adult learners
- Subject matter expertise
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience teaching in a remote environment
- Familiarity with Canvas
- Experience teaching in higher education
