What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Faculty - Paralegal Studies position at Middlesex College?

The Business and Computer Science Department at Middlesex College invites applications for part-time instructors to teach the following subjects during the 2021-2022 Academic Year:

  • Business Organizations and Government Regulations
  • Criminal Law and Procedure
  • Contracts and Uniform Commercial Code
  • Family Law
  • Legal Research
  • Legal Writing
  • Litigation Procedure
  • Property Transactions
  • Torts
  • Wills and Estate Administration
     
     

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Juris Doctor degree
  • Experience working with Paralegals in a legal setting
  • Three years of legal business experience 
  • College teaching experience
     
     

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience teaching in a remote environment
  • Experience teaching adult learners
  • Familiarity with Learning Management System (Canvas)
  • Experience teaching in higher education
