Medical Technologist (ASCP) - Generalist
Hours: Part-Time/24 hours (This is a benefits eligible position.)
Shift Details: Nights, 10:30pm-7:00am with rotating weekends and holidays
Position Summary:
The Medical Technologist (ASCP) - Generalist performs complex analytical procedures within the laboratory using practical and theoretical knowledge of clinical procedures and instrumentation. Phlebotomy is performed by dedicated phlebotomists at all sites. Responsible for generalist duties in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, blood bank and limited rapid microbiology.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with MT/MLS (ASCP) Generalist certification or Associate's Degree with MLT (ASCP) Generalist certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Epic Beaker Experience
- WellSky Blood Bank Experience
- Familiarity with current instrumentation.

- Hematology: Sysmex - XN 3100 Automation Line, SP-50 Stainer, DI-60 CellaVision, XN-550 (at offsites); bioMerieux Vidas, Bio Rad D-100 HbA1c Analyzer, Alcor iSED ESR Analyzer.
- Microbiology: bioMerieux - Vitek II XL, Virtuo; Hologic Panther, Cepheid GeneXpert (Xpress at offsites), Advanced Instruments Anoxomat anaerobic chamber
- Urinalysis: Sysmex UF-5000 (UN-2000 with Clinitek Novus), Clinitek Status
