What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment and Yard Coordinator position at Midwest Equipment and Supply?
The Equipment and Yard Coordinator is responsible for all operation required to manage the flow of heavy equipment into and out of the yard. Additionally, the Equipment and Yard Coordinator will use an attention to detail to manage the documentation of machines, cleanliness of equipment, and organization of Midwest Equipment’s lot. The Equipment and Yard Coordinator will play a key role in customer relationships through good communication and friendly customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Check in/check out of Heavy Equipment accurately and inspecting the machine condition through pictures and documentation.
- Safely operate all equipment rented, sold and serviced by Midwest Equipment.
- Clean the exterior and interior of equipment to as new condition.
- Utilize technology to document machine condition, communicate with internal and external customers via email and text, and utilize systems to track working times.
- Note customer damage and provide repair estimate based on experience and ability to utilize resources.
- Work with little oversite to manage lot appearance and daily in and out process.
- Open lot daily and secure gates nightly as needed.
- Clean and organize lot as required to provide quality appearance.
- Occasional travel is expected.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualification and Experience
- Heavy Equipment Operation Experience
- Dealership or Rental Service Experience
- High Level of Self-Motivation
- A Can-Do Attitude
- Detail Oriented
Required Qualifications and Experience
- High school Diploma or GED
- Competent in Microsoft Outlook
- Competent in efficiently operating a cell phone, camera, and computer
- Valid driver license including a clean driving record subject to background check

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
