Salary: $22.00 - $26.45 / hour (depending on position and qualifications)

Mile High Early Learning has multiple openings for Infant and Toddler Teachers at several locations; Five Points, downtown Denver, and East Colfax.

Responsibilities of an Infant / Toddler Teacher include:
- Co-lead a classroom of eight infant or toddlers
- Work closely as a teaching team to individualize the curriculum to meet the children’s needs
- Support children’s social and emotional needs
- Complete developmental assessments and screenings
- Complete home visits (twice per year) and parent teacher conferences
- Work as a teaching team to complete parent/teacher conference and home visits
- Encourage and support parent involvement in the classroom
- Create a safe and healthy learning environment
- Supervise the safety of the children in care
- Communicate with coworkers and families in a warm and professional manner

Requirements
- AA or BA in ECE or Child Development OR
- BA/MA in an unrelated field with a current Teaching License with an endorsement in ElEd, ECE or SpEd.
- CDA (Child Development Associates) OR
- PDIS Level II (with ECE 111)
- Ability to work full time work week, Monday through Friday, occasional evening meetings
Other preferred qualifications;
- Bilingual - Spanish, Arabic, Amharic, or Somali (a plus)
- Experience with the Montessori philosophy (a plus)
