MRP is searching for a passionate and agile Shipping/Receiving Coordinator who is a problem-solver and excited by challenges and the opportunity to build something great with us. As a Shipping/Receiving Coordinator in the Warehouse Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the shipment and reception of goods, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and procedures. You will work closely with various departments to coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, maintain inventory records, and handle related administrative tasks.

What will you do in this role?

Inspect deliveries for accuracy and completeness.

Verify received quantities against purchase orders or packing lists.

Record and report any discrepancies or damages.

Organize received items for storage or distribution.

Pack products securely and appropriately for transport.

Generate shipping labels and documentation.
-
Coordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveries.
-
Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and guidelines.

Maintain accurate inventory records using electronic systems or manual logs.

Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.

Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed.

Organize warehouse space to optimize storage efficiency

Communicate effectively with purchasing, production, and sales teams to fulfill orders and resolve issues.

Collaborate with quality control to address any product defects or quality concerns.

Assist in coordinating special projects or rush orders as required.

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling shipments and operating equipment.

Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.

Report any safety concerns or incidents to management promptly.

Maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving activities.

Assist with data entry, filing, and other administrative duties as assigned.

Follows all safety policies of the organization and actively participates in various safety programs and initiatives.

Follows all the organizations policies as laid out in the Employee Handbook.

Follows all GMP requirements aligned with the organizations ISO certifications of ISO9001, 14001 and 22001.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What does it take to be successful in this role?
Basic Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum one year Forklift experience

Proficiency with computerized inventory management systems and software.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Preferred Requirements

- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a production warehouse or distribution environment.
