ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)
- Assist engineering in the development of new products and test fixtures
- Write test procedures for products
- Develop programs and scripts to automate testing
- Troubleshoot test fixtures, returned products or damaged products
- Perform small soldering and wiring tasks
- Develop technical and application level knowledge of products
REQUIREMENTS
- Enrolled in Electrical Engineering Program
- Sophomore/Junior Standing
- Availability to work 15 hours during the school year
- Ability to perform tasks with limited supervision
- Willingness to learn and take direction
COMPETENCIES
- Basic Electronics Theory
- Problem Solving/Analysis
- Proficient in Microsoft Tools
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a business casual office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas, which may require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses.
