RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for ensuring additive manufacturing processes meet and customer/industry requirements
  • Responsible for handling of sensitive parts and safe powder handling within the additive production process
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe work environment, particularly regarding powder and chemical usage

JOB DUTIES

  • Load programs, operate, and perform daily maintenance on additive machines
  • Hands-on powder handling including sieving, sampling, loading, and cleaning while maintaining traceability of powder and parts
  • Full support of all post printing operations: manual material removal, grinding, furnace operation, media blasting
  • Complete production parts per operating schedule, and support part flow through process as needed to support business goals for quality and on time delivery metrics

SKILLS

  • Preferred: Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of additive parts
  • Preferred: Knowledge of machines and tools used in additive manufacturing operations
  • Preferred: Knowledge of GD&T and measurement tools
  • Careful planning, scheduling, and strong general organization to maximize efficiency and productivity
  • Excellent and direct communication - both written and oral – with vendors, teammates, and management
  • Ability to assess the performance of self, other individuals, or processes to make improvements or take corrective action

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: 1 to 3 years of experience with Additive Manufacturing or a similar manufacturing environment
  • Required: Ability to lift 50 lbs and use heavy machinery
  • Required: Compliant with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status (ITAR defines "U.S. Person" as a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
