Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their dining experience. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and ensuring smooth seating arrangements while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a warm and friendly first impression.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or requests, ensuring excellent guest relations and customer service.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to coordinate guest needs and special requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area and dining room.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for managing reservations and tracking guest flow.
- Help create a positive dining environment by addressing any guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha, is a plus.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for providing outstanding customer service in the food service industry.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
