Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant and nightclub environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent guest relations skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using the restaurant's ordering system, such as OpenTable.
• Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions regarding food preparation or ingredients.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Assist with food preparation when necessary, ensuring all items are properly sanitized and presented.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
• Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally to ensure a positive dining experience.

Skills

• Strong guest relations skills with a focus on providing exceptional service.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions effectively.
• Experience in food preparation is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, particularly in nightlife settings, is advantageous.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure food safety standards are met consistently.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
