Minnehaha Academy’s Camp Minnehaha is searching for a Sports & Games Instructor to prepare and teach physical activities for students in grades Pre-K through 8th grade.
This position can also fulfill internship requirements as part of your educational program. Minnehaha Summer Programs will work with you based on the requirements set forth by your institution.
Camp Dates: June 10 - August 2, 2024.
Hours: 8:30 am – 12:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Qualifications and position details:
- Passion for working and playing with children.
- Physical education experience (teaching preferred).
- Strong people skills to interact with the children, parents, and staff.
- Minimum of two years' experience working with children in a church, school, or camp setting preferred.
- Ability to plan and implement age-appropriate activities.
- Coordinate with the Summer Programs Director in ordering supplies.
- Ability to support and implement the school's mission; comfortable leading or taking part in prayer and devotions.
- CPR/First Aid Certification a plus.
