What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recreation Coordinator - Aquatics position at Minnesota City Jobs?

Primary responsibility is to assist with supervision, coordination and promotion of the programs and services of the Brooklyn Center Community Center pool operations.

The Aquatics Coordinator has hours set as listed below, with management discretion to change hours based on community pool needs, with advance notice.

Tuesday – Saturday typical work week
Tuesday - Friday 11:30-8
Saturday - 8-4:30

Minimum Qualifications:
American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
Lifeguard Instructor Certification (or willing and qualified to obtain)
High School diploma or equivalent.
Four (4) years of experience as a lifeguard of which two (2) years must be in a supervisory capacity (head guard)
