What are the responsibilities and job description for the Frontend Engineer position at MIRROR?
At Mirror, our mission is to empower creative communities with web3-native products that are beautiful and intuitive. We are a small, passionate team with a breadth of experience that has been building in this space for years. We’re currently growing our team in New York City in order to work on a new web3 social product. We’re backed by some of the best investors in web3, including a16z Crypto, Union Square Ventures, Variant and Electric Capital.
You are
An experienced frontend engineer with a proven track record of shipping products and navigating ambiguity. You have a passion for crafting world-class products and consistently improve your craft with like-minded teammates. You are able to work in-person at our office in New York City on a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
Architect, develop, and execute on our product roadmap
Build performant and high fidelity consumer applications in React Native
Craft beautiful and intuitive user experiences
Design and integrate GraphQL API interfaces alongside backend engineers
Work closely with designers on implementing new features based off of mockups, communicating tradeoffs and exploring new ideas
Continuously improve our frontend infrastructure
Requirements
4 years writing production software (bonus points for web3 experience)
Experience building consumer products
Are a self-starter in proposing and carrying out technical solutions to ambiguous business problems
Experience with TypeScript and React
Nice to have
Experience with React Native
Experience building native mobile consumer applications (iOS, Android)
Meaningful open source contributions or public code for us to appreciate
Web3 experience
Salary Range
200,000 - $250,000 (based on experience)
