THIS IS A FULL-TIME,SEASONAL POSITION FOR THE SUMMER 2025 SEASON (APRIL THROUGH THE BEGINNING OF NOVEMBER)
Mission Point Resort, Mackinac Islands' only full service, casual resort is currently seeking candidates to fill the position of Bartender. This full time/seasonal position is located on Mackinac Island and offers competitive pay, housing, other perks. The ideal applicant will possess an upbeat attitude, and enjoy working in a multi-cultural environment.
POSITION SUMMARY
As a Resort Bartender, you will fill a key role with an industry-recognized leader in hospitality services. The primary role of the Resort Bartender is to execute the comprehensive food and beverage dining experience for the resort. This individual will perform a variety of activities to ensure a consistent and excellent experience for the guests. This position reports directly to the Lead Bartender and Beverage Manager.
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- One year of experience in the restaurant industry or related field preferred.
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Working knowledge of POS Systems
- Working knowledge of Bartending processes and procedures
- Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards within the department
- Proactive approach, with exceptional initiative and problem-solving abilities to ensure the highest level of productivity.
- Must be ServSafe and ETip Certified
- Ability to live and work on Mackinac Island seasonally
