THIS IS A FULL-TIME, SEASONAL POSITION FOR THE SUMMER 2024 SEASON (APRIL THROUGH THE BEGINNING OF NOVEMBER)
Mission Point Resort, Mackinac Islands' only full service, casual resort is currently seeking candidates to fill the position of Conference Services Coordinator. This full time/seasonal position is located on Mackinac Island and offers competitive pay, housing, other perks. The ideal applicant will possess an upbeat attitude and enjoy working in a multi-cultural environment.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Conference Service Coordinator is a detail-oriented individual with excellent clerical skills that is looking to gain experience in event planning. The position will provide support to the Conference Services Managers by ensuring that all groups, weddings, and events are successfully executed and expectations are exceeded.
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Should be a student or recent graduate participating in a degree program in hospitality, events, or related field.

Experience in event planning preferred.

Ability to live and work on Mackinac Island for the summer season.

Ability to read and understand a posted banquet event order to portray the correct arrangement of the room for the setup staff.
