Position Summary
The Conference Service Manager is a detail oriented planning professional, possessing excellent event management and clerical skills. Conference Service Managers will be assigned groups and weddings that they will handle in detail. This will include room setup, menu planning, billing, and any details related to the event. The position is also responsible for communication all details to Mission Point staff and to ensure successful execution.

Required Skills And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, or related field preferred
- Minimum two years experience Event Management/Conference Services
- Ability to live on or travel to and work on Mackinac Island for the summer season
- Knowledge of principles and practices within the catering, food and beverage and hospitality professions
- Be an enthusiastic, helpful and positive member of the team
- May be required to work varying schedules as reflected by business needs of the hotel
- Be self-motivated and use time wisely
