Mission Point Resort, Mackinac Islands’ only full service, casual resort is currently seeking candidates to fill the position of Recreation Supervisor. This full time/seasonal position is located on Mackinac Island and offers competitive pay, housing, other perks. The ideal applicant will have at least one year of recreation/activities experience, possess an upbeat leadership style, and have experience working in a multi-cultural environment.
POSITION SUMMARY
The primary role of the Recreation Supervisor is to assist the Recreation Manager in creating, planning, and coordinating Mission Point Resort's recreational programs and guest activities to ensure maximum enjoyment and exceptional service for our guests. This position also administers the rental, scheduling, use and maintenance of the bikes and executive putting course facilities.
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School or equivalent education with a minimum of one year of experience in recreation/activities
- Be an enthusiastic, helpful and positive member of the team
- Strong leadership and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Proficient in basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
