The YMCA Sports Coordinator helps support the Sports Director by helping to implement and supervise sports programs.

In this role, you can look forward to:
- Assisting the Sports Director with implementation and supervision of basketball, flag football, volleyball and T-Ball programs to meet the needs of our members and community.
- Applying game and venue polices to ensure safety and welfare of members and participants.
- Building relationships with participants, helping them connect with each other and the YMCA.
- Organizing, distributing and returning equipment, including set up and take down.
- Helping to clean up after each shift, ensuring cleanliness of venue and equipment.
- Attending and assisting with staff meetings and training.
Part Time Shifts Available, Evenings & Weekends:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 4:00 pm-8:30 pm
- Wednesday: 5:00 pm-11:00 pm
- Saturday: 9:30 am-4:00 pm
- Shift times may vary based on program registration & availability

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who displays the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Knowledge of and experience with participating in youth and/or adult sports required. Experience with coaching, officiating, or supervising sports programs preferred. Enthusiasm for YMCA programs and an interest in working with youth required.
