Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Bronx, NY (Onsite)
Employment Type: Full Time, 8am - 4pm, Rotating Saturdays
Compensation
Pay Range:$30.00-$33.00/Yrs
Description
Deliver safe, quality patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Collaborate with a designated care team to achieve patient care goals.
Adhere to the philosophy, standards, objectives, and policies of the department and organization.
Key Responsibilities
Perform treatments and procedures competently.
Assist with patients' respiratory needs, including aerosol and inhalation treatments.
Conduct oral and endotracheal suctioning.
Insert and remove Foley catheters, perform EKGs, and conduct phlebotomy for blood collection.
Insert IVs and maintain lines.
Prepare and administer medication, observing patients' responses.
Obtain and record vital signs and other patient metrics.
Qualifications
Certificate of completion from a practical nurse course of study.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.
Current New York State LPN license and registration.
Current BCLS, Infection Control, and Child Abuse Certificates required.
Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.
