Title: Mammography Technologist
Location: Northeastern United States (Onsite)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Day Shift, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
Compensation
Pay Range: $50.00-$56.00 Per HR
Description
Operate radiologic equipment to perform mammography procedures.
Assist physicians in diagnosing diseases through imaging.
Explain procedures to patients to ensure cooperation.
Ensure images are of proper detail and quality.
Maintain equipment and perform minor repairs.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and position patients for procedures.
Move imaging equipment and adjust controls for optimal exposure.
Practice radiation protection techniques.
Process and review images for quality control.
Prepare images for physician review.
Perform quality assurance tests and assist with inspections.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years' experience in mammography.
Ability to perform diagnostic and screening mammography.
Must have regional RT license and certification.
Experience With DEXA Preferred, Training Available.
Associate's degree or equivalent education and experience.
Knowledge of word processing software.
