Essential Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and participate in project planning, estimating, scheduling, staffing, procurement, and execution of projects.
- Maintain and manage client relationship and expectations.
- Manage and communicate project changes that may impact either budget or schedule.
- Ability to manage several projects through the full project life cycle process.
- Assist in the development and implementation of account and project strategies.
- Provide ongoing customer insight and historical perspectives to support current project proposals.
- Assist in preparation and development of project proposals and strategy.
- Participate in proposal review meetings, site/department visits, and estimating efforts, as required in the development of the proposal.
- Travel throughout United States to make specialized sales calls along with other Mitutoyo America sales personnel. Visit current and potential customers to promote specific products and assist with customer meetings.
- Keep informed of Mitutoyo America products and provide input on new product research and development. Communicate new developments to management.
- Attend Mitutoyo meetings and participate in sales training, product knowledge training sessions and on-boarding training as required.
- Maintain regular contact and communications with Mitutoyo America personnel as required.
Required Education and Experience:
- 5 years of experience as a project engineer/project manager.
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing industry processes and automation technology.
- Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision and be able to provide management oversight.

Supervisory Responsibilities: There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.
Work Environment: Office Environment.
Physical Demands: The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position.
Monday – Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM
Travel: Up to 25% travel is required.
