What You’ll Do:
As a Claims Representative at the Introductory, Intermediate or Senior level, you’ll handle complex property claims. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough field investigations to assess damage and determine liability.
- Conducts on-site field investigation and assessment of reported claims as needed and assigned.
- Evaluating coverage, collecting evidence, and preparing detailed documentation.
- Negotiating settlements with claimants, policyholders, attorneys, and other involved parties.
- Managing reserves and making settlement decisions within assigned authority.
- Coordinating with vendors, engineers, legal counsel, and recovery specialists.
- Supporting subrogation efforts and responding to storm and catastrophe events.
- Providing exceptional customer service and serving as a resource for junior adjusters.

Requirements to Succeed:
Introductory Level:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience).
Intermediate Level:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience).
- 3 years of complex multi-line or discipline-specific claims experience.
- Completion of AIC Core Courses, or 4 years of experience as a substitute.
Senior Level:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience).
- 6 years of complex claims experience.
- Completion of full AIC designation, or 8 years of experience as a substitute.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid Missouri Driver's License.
- Willingness to travel for field investigations and catastrophe response.
- Ability to work in varied environmental conditions, including outdoor and hazardous sites.
